Mooney Dental is an award-winning, high-tech, General Dental office situated in the heart of Woburn, MA. Our Team
Our friendly staff is led by Dr. Kevin Mooney and Dr. Alyssa Tarpy, who are both native to Woburn.
Dr. Mooney is a cum laude graduate of Boston College and Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He’s served with the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, receiving advanced training in all dental specialties and recognized for his outstanding professional service and clinical excellence. In 2020, he received the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, recognizing his commitment to excellence in dental education.
Dr. Tarpy, a graduate of Boston College and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, completed her General Practice Residency at the University of Vermont. She brings her extensive experience from treating underserved areas in rural Vermont and her work in a hospital setting to our practice. She’s excited to be back in Woburn, caring for the community that she loves.
Our Services
Mooney Dental offers an array of services, from cosmetic treatments like professional whitening procedures and smile makeovers to restorative dental treatments and endodontics. We specialize in Invisalign, veneers, dental implants, same-day crowns, and emergency dentistry.
We also offer preventive services, including professional cleanings and checkups that include an oral cancer screening. We take the time to get to know all our patients and their individual needs so we can provide a custom treatment plan to meet your needs.
Patient Information and Office Hours
We value transparency, and our friendly team provides written estimates for treatments. Payment is due at the time of treatment, and we accept a variety of payment options, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and financing options through CareCredit. As a courtesy to our patients with dental insurance policies, we will submit your forms and process your co-payment.
We accept most insurance plans and are Network Providers for Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield. For patients with no or underperforming insurance plans, we offer our own Mooney Dental Savings Plan.
Our office is open at the following hours for your convenience:
- Monday: 7am – 5pm
- Tuesday: 7am – 5pm
- Wednesday: 9am – 7pm
- Thursday: 7am – 5pm
- Friday: 8am – 12pm
- Every other Saturday: 8am – 12pm
